Russia's Prime Minister, Vladimir Putin, is a good Orthodox Christian but you would never know that from the way the West portrays him in the media. They have their own reasons for hiding this from everyone. Russia seeks expansion not as the atheistic monster from the Soviet Union, but as a Christian nation that overcame a turbulent and horrific past. Christians in Russia have survived Hell's fury from communism. The blood that once soaked the land was the seed for Russia's new destiny. The evil that spread from Russia in 1917 to the West will be destroyed by Russia's renewed faith that will heal the world.

American liberals hate the Tea Party and Christians in "public view". They demonize Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann and ridicule Christians in America as crazed right-wingers. They danced when President Reagan, Jerry Falwell and Charlton Heston died. There is no longer a powerful conservative in the West the liberals fear. They know they can handle the majority of America through Hollywood and the entertainment media.

They control America as a toy captivates a child.

Putin has real world power, which causes the liberal media to fearfully ignore or warp his image. Like a good Christian King he leads a nation to Christ. As a small example, last February, Russia bought some land near the Eiffel Tower where an Orthodox Church will be built. The liberals don't want Russia's Christianity to spread and re-Christianize Europe. Liberals, like most Democrats in America, would hate Russia if they inspired and renewed Christians throughout the world.

Putin moves West.

With the World Cup coming to Russia in 2018, the writing is already on the wall and Prime Minister Putin seeks to expand to the West, not militarily but economically and more importantly, allowing the kingdom of Christianity to spread. One way to do that is to have a Visa free trade zone between Europe and Russia to stimulate the economy. Putin helped to bring the World Cup to his country and it is only logical to open the doors between Europe and Russia.

Putin told the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper, "Europe needs its own vision of the future. We propose to shape it together, through a Russia-EU partnership. It would be our joint bid for success and competitiveness in the modern world."

Russian stereotype.

Senator John McCain is typical of those who stereotype Putin when he said, "I looked into Mr. Putin's eyes and I saw three things - a K and a G and a B".

McCain is insinuating that Putin, a former KGB agent, is an old hard line communist like the NKVD was under Stalin. McCain has read Alexander Solzhenitsyn and even did an article about him. However, he really knows nothing about Russia, Solzhenitsyn and Putin otherwise he would know why Solzhenitsyn would vehemently disagree with his KGB statement which I will prove near the end of this article.

He later said "I think it's very clear that Russian ambitions are to restore the old Russian Empire". I respect Senator McCain's service in the military and as a POW, but he is a typical politician. He makes Putin sound like Godzilla about to attack. McCain also opposed Russia's membership in the G-8. Putin is a straight talker and not a politician like McCain. Putin's reply to McCain was, "forego your threats until after you're elected." McCain did lose to Obama.

It is necessary to note that McCain like Obama, received money from George Soros. McCain is known as one of the most liberal Republicans. I, for one, cannot trust anyone who deals with Soros.

Atheist Soros hates and fears Putin. When Soros sees Putin he sees his own end. Long ago I had heard that Soros' Nazi collaborating hand was in Georgia but I had no confirmation until later. Andrew Bolt from the Australia's Herald Sun wrote, "of course, Australia is only one of 50 countries in which Soros works. And his meddling here is nothing given what he's just done in Georgia..He then backed Georgia's former
justice minister, Mikhail Saakashvili"

Some westerners speculate Soros and Putin are a team. The truth is, billionaire Soros knows Putin would throw him in jail as he has done to other oligarchs who misbehaved. Even today Putin pushes greedy oligarchs to help their country. Do you think a devious man like Soros would allow Putin to tell him what to do? Last March, the UK's Telegraph wrote, "Not since he threw a pen at Oleg Deripaska has Russia's prime minister so publicly berated the country's richest billionaires"

There are many examples of the prime minister not being afraid to push the rich to help Russia. The World Cup is coming to Russia in 2018 thanks to Putin's help and he is also persuading the billionaires to invest millions for a new stadium, new high speed rail services and other necessary construction. Billionaire owner of the Chelsea football club, Roman Abramovich was told by Putin to pay for the World Cup. He will at least pay more than £500m for the new stadium outside of Moscow. In comparison, sport team owners in America, like the NFL owners, scheme to have the people pay for the stadiums through higher taxes.

Western media hides the truth.

The western media constantly portrays Russia as the same old Soviet Union. I understand their mistrust but they should learn at least to report the facts.

When Soros' Georgia attacked innocent civilians the same McCain said, 'we are all Georgians'. Remember it was the American media who told us on August 2008 that Russia was invading S.Ossetia and Georgia while insisting Russia was at fault and should be stopped. Condoleeza Rice kept referring to Russia as though it was the Soviet Union. AP news reported she said that the NATO alliance would "punish Russia". CNN quoted Bush telling Russia,"We strongly condemn bombing outside of South Ossetia". Reuters reported that Obama said, "Georgia's territorial integrity must be respected".

The American media was still eagerly blaming Russia for starting the war even when the young S.Ossetian girl Amanda Kokoeva went on Fox News and thanked the Russians for helping.

The truth was unveiled on November 2008 when Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili admitted he did start the war. Oops! Did the American media or politicians such as Senator Obama, President Bush, Condoleeza Rice and McCain admit their mistake in condemning Russia? Did they acknowledge the thousands killed by Saakashvili? No, of course not. Admitting a mistake would lower credibility and network ratings.

Later, CNN did allow Putin to have his say but the damage was done in portraying Russia as an invading menace. On May, 2010, the European Parliament said Georgia, not Russia, was responsible for starting the war with South Ossetia: "The European Parliament supported the findings of a special report which says Georgia "triggered the war" with heavy artillery attack on Tskhinval."

Patrick J. Buchanan.

I met Buchanan in 1996 during a fundraiser for the presidential election. He was against globalism then as he is now. Even he said that Georgia started the war. In his article, "Blowback from Bear Baiting"

he wrote: "Georgia started this fight - Russia finished it. People who start wars don't get to decide how and when they end."

Why didn't America follow Reagan's path and keep her promises? Russia was like the South after Lincoln was shot. Without a strong leader, Russia was open to attack by the "New World Order". Buchanan further wrote:

"When Moscow pulled the Red Army out of Europe, closed its bases in Cuba, dissolved the evil empire, let the Soviet Union break up into 15 states, and sought friendship and alliance with the United States, what did we do? American carpetbaggers colluded with Muscovite Scalawags to loot the Russian nation. Breaking a pledge to Mikhail Gorbachev, we moved our military alliance into Eastern Europe, then onto Russia's doorstep. Six Warsaw Pact nations and three former republics of the Soviet Union are now NATO members. Bush, Cheney and McCain have pushed to bring Ukraine and Georgia into NATO. This would require the United States to go to war with Russia over Stalin's birthplace and who has sovereignty over the Crimean Peninsula and Sebastopol, traditional home of Russia's Black Sea fleet.

When did these become U.S. vital interests, justifying war with Russia?

The United States unilaterally abrogated the Anti-Ballistic Missile treaty because our technology was superior, then planned to site anti-missile defenses in Poland and the Czech Republic to defend against Iranian missiles, though Iran has no ICBMs and no atomic bombs. A Russian counter-offer to have us together put an anti-missile system in Azerbaijan was rejected out of hand.

We built a Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline from Azerbaijan through Georgia to Turkey to cut Russia out. Then we helped dump over regimes friendly to Moscow with democratic "revolutions" in Ukraine and Georgia, and tried to repeat it in Belarus."

American Missiles near Russia.

It is understandable that the West is made uneasy by Russia because of the communists that were in charge of the government under the Soviet Union. There is a small communist party that still exists today but Putin is not a member and they are all vocal against him to a point of creating riots in Moscow with people sent in from Vladivostok (January 2009).

It clearly shows the conflict between the Communists and Putin's United Russia Party. Last March 28, Reuters wrote something similar in Arkhangelsk.

Putin recently advised the West concerning democracy: "Rather than talking about democracy in Russia let the West be specific about the issues that matter. If they are worried about nuclear programs in Iran, let's talk about Iran together. If they want us to resolve Kosovo, let's talk Kosovo. We will gladly participate in any debate with our partners."

He also stated in an interview with Larry King on CNN that he would set up a defense if the west were to set up missiles near Russia. He emphasized that he would never start anything but only retaliate.

"Larry, listen, I'd like to make this clear to you and to all Americans, or,at least, to the audience of your show today. It's not Russia that is moving missiles close to your border; it's the United States that is planning to deploy missiles near Russia's border. We keep hearing that the purpose is to
protect yourselves from the threat of a nuclear missile attack by Iran, for example. But Iran poses no such threat at the moment. And if anti-missile
and radar systems are set up near our border, even in 2015, they will undermine our nuclear capabilities. So it's only natural that we are alarmed
by the prospect. And we are obligated to take some measures in response.
This is a response; we are not making the first moves... But we continue to be told: "We don't want to take your interests into account, we are going to do
whatever we want." So we'll just have to view it as a threat to our security, and we'll be forced to respond accordingly. That's what I'd like
to get across to the American public."

Russia and Iran.

Putin sees no threat working with Iran. The spent fuel from the nuclear reactor is being sent back to Russia as promised. The western media rarely includes the fact that the UN nuclear inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) are keeping a watchful eye on the nuclear power plant in Bushehr. Only one TV station in America finally reported it correctly.

Fox News reported last August 2010, "The uranium fuel Russia has supplied for Bushehr is well below the more than 90 percent enrichment needed for a nuclear warhead. Iran is already producing its own uranium enriched to the Bushehr level -- about 3.5 percent. It also has started a pilot program of enriching uranium to 20 percent, which officials say is needed for a medical research reactor."

In my article, "The World Should Follow Russia's Lead", I wrote, "According to the Moscow Times Iran tested its first nuclear plant February 26, 2009 with the help of Russian officials. Russia is working with Iran and not against it. Russia no more wants Iran to have nuclear missiles any more than the US does. Recently, President Dmitry Medvedev on September 22. 2010, signed a ban to stop deliveries of S-300 missile systems to Iran."

"President Dmitry Medvedev ...signed a decree which bans deliveries of S-300 missile systems to Iran.", reported Russia Today. Medvedev will not allow Iran to have the missiles they requested. I remember this happened after a meeting he had with Netanyahu of Israel. The first meeting was in February then I heard they had another meeting later in secret. "Russia certainly understands there is a need to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and it understands that certain steps must be taken against it," Netanyahu said.

As though to persuade the reader that Russia could care less, Reuters likes to add, "Neither Medvedev nor Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has publicly commented on the Iranian situation for weeks." Maybe instead of relying on babylon.com or Google to translate the web, Reuters should invest in a human translator. "A web translator is only good for translating "words" not phrases or paragraphs."

"I trust what I heard from President Medvedev on this issue. I know that on this issue Russia is guided by considerations of regional stability," Netanyahu said.

CBS and AP reported last December 1st that Putin warned, ‘resistance to the treaty "dumb,"'. However, Putin never said that it was dumb. They seem to portray Putin as a man ready to attack. They like to scare America by saying, "Mr. Putin warned". Keep in mind that dictators never warned their opponents. Did Hitler warn Russia? Did Japan warn America? Bush warned Iraq but he is not a dictator as Soros and the liberals want us to think. They later referred to Larry King's question about the Start treaty. It is the first question in our video.

The new treaty shows Russia is willing to trust America but should they really trust Obama after what happened in Georgia and S. Ossetia? Medvedev seems content with the new Start treaty that the U.S. Senate and lower house of the Russian parliament recently ratified. Russian military expert Konstantin Sivkov says it is more beneficial to America and leaves a poor missile shield for Russia.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the leader of the Liberal democratic party and the the Communist Party also agree that the Start treaty is bad for Russia. The upper house of the Duma still has to debate during the second reading in mid-January of 2011.

Putin Baptized.

McCain, AP, CBS and others like them would be happy to tell you that Putin's father was a devoted communist. They do not want you to know that his mother was a devout Christian and had Putin baptized in 1952. In Richard Sakwa's book, "Putin: Russia's Choice", he writes:

"Maria was a devoted believer, and although there were no icons in the flat she regularly slipped off to church, which in those days of official atheism and persecution suggested a person with deep-felt beliefs. She ensured that the baby Vladimir was christened into the Orthodox faith, although this was done in secret, and she regularly took him to services"

Putin's Religious Cross.

Later, Putin recounts that on the eve of an official visit to Israel his mother gave him his baptismal cross to have it blessed: ‘I did as she said and then put the cross around my neck. I have never have taken it off since'". At 5:25 CNN Larry King asks him about his faith. (English translation below)

KING: There is much talk about Vladimir Putin and religious faith. I'm told that you wear a cross. Is that true? Are you religious? What are your feelings in this area?

PUTIN (through translator): I prefer -- I would prefer not to develop on that subject in detail. I think such things are sacred for everybody. Everybody's belief is not to be shown off, it's inside a man's heart. As regards to wearing cross, earlier I never had it -- once my mother gave it to me and when I visited Israel. I was there two times. First on an official invitation of the minister of foreign affairs of that country. The second time, I liked the country, and I traveled there with my family as a tourist.

So my mother gave it to me to have a blessing there at the Tomb of Lord. I did so and now it's with me always.

Incidentally enough, there was a story about this cross and since then I have always decided to have it on my body, now in the Dacha close to St. Petersburg, there was fire on the Dacha, it happened because of the fact that something went wrong with sauna.

Prior entering sauna, I took off the cross before entering the sauna, and then with my friend we jumped out naked, since it was so unexpected. And I cherish that cross very much, it was my mother's cross, and the fire was really in earnest at the time. So I was thinking about whether perhaps it could get even remnants of it, it was an aluminum-made cross, a very simple thing.

I was surprised completely when one of the workers, just muddling through those ashes of the remnants, found that cross intact. And the house fell, that was a surprise, a revelation, and therefore I always now keep it with me.

Putin will only allow traditional marriages in Russia. He said, "As for same-sex marriages, they do not produce offspring, as you know. So we are fairly tolerant toward sexual minorities, however we think that the state should promote reproduction, support mothers and children, and look after their health."

Putin does not drink and wants Russia to follow moderation. Reuters reported Jan. 14. 2010, "Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, alarmed by Russians' love affair with alcohol, gave the go-ahead on Thursday for a campaign to cut consumption by more than half in the next 10 years."

President Reagan and Solzhenitsyn.

http://english.pravda.ru/images/article/9/7/2/42972.jpeg

Reagan called the Soviet Union the evil empire and rightly so. "The Soviet Union was the Russian people held hostage by the Communists"- Alexander Solzhenitsyn. Solzhenitsyn wrote about the evils in many of his books, which Reagan was well aware of. On May 30, 1988 in Moscow, President Ronald Reagan was at the Danilov Monastery. He said, "There is a beautiful passage that I'd just like to read, if I may. It's from one of this country's great writers and believers, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, about the faith that is as elemental to this land as the dark and fertile soil. He wrote: "When you travel the byroads of central Russia, you begin to understand the secret of the pacifying Russian countryside. It is in the churches. They lift their bell-towers-graceful, shapely, all different-high over mundane timber and thatch. From villages that are cut off and invisible to each other, they soar to the same heaven.... The evening chimes used to ring out, floating over the villages, fields, and woods, reminding men that they must abandon trivial concerns of this world and give time and thought to eternity."

Reagan helped destroy communism and later even had Gorbachev at his ranch in California.

Liberals and the media hated Reagan especially for his religious beliefs. So, naturally they will hate Putin as well. Reagan made 1983 the "Year of the Bible". Reagan reminded America, "If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under." He well understood the meaning of separation of church and state.

Church and State.

In America separation of church and state means that the government cannot interfere with religious expression or the churches activities. On the other hand, the liberals, atheists and communist groups insist that religion should not be seen in the public arena. They claim the government is promoting religion. They seem allergic to Christianity and prefer any sign of it to be hidden almost as though they were the devil himself who hates it.

Liberals would prefer to stay away from Russia. Indeed, they would dread a country with censorship. In November of 2007 Putin met with the Orthodox Church's Patriarch Alexy II who asked for "tighter controls on the content of television and radio broadcasts" saying they were promoting "vicious behavior."

In America there are stories of artists depicting a religious crucifix in urine or more recently a crucifix covered by ants at the Smithsonian Institute. The latter was removed after much protest. YouTube always has blasphemous videos against the Catholic Church.

Free speech in America includes blasphemy against religion with the exception of the Muslim religion. Liberals value their lives and therefore focus their hatred against the Christians. It is also a shame that anyone is free to file a lawsuit against a nativity scene, Ten Commandments or cross in the so called "public view" or on government property.

Liberals have used the freedom their Founding Fathers gave them like spoiled brats. One Russian took notice of it and spoke about it at Harvard in 1978. Solzhenitsyn said, "In today's Western society, the inequality has been revealed of freedom for good deeds and freedom for evil deeds..." .
"Destructive and irresponsible freedom" .

"Such a tilt of freedom in the direction of evil has come about gradually but it was evidently born primarily out of a humanistic and benevolent concept according to which there is no evil inherent to human nature".

Evil is a myth and subsequently ignored in America by liberals who think they are above it all. Russia, under communism, has already met evil face to face. Fortunately, Russia loves and fears their Creator. They have laws against blasphemy. In Moscow, a court convicted two artists of "inciting religious hatred". One of the paintings showed Jesus as Mickey Mouse. The artists were convicted with heavy fines. This should happen to the Smithsonian Institute and YouTube but freedom in America gives a right to express evil.

In Russia, God and country are intertwined. Reuters story from November 2007, titled, "Putin promises support to Russian Orthodox Church": "President Vladimir Putin promised on Monday further strong state support for the dominant Russian Orthodox Church, urging believers to be active in crucial elections in December and March." State support for the church has grown even stronger under Putin as Russia has turned away from Western-style liberalism of the first post-Soviet decade to traditional values.

Putin: "Orthodoxy has always had a special role in shaping our statehood, our culture, our morals, Putin told dozens of high-ranking black-robed priests led by Patriarch Alexy II. "We highly appreciate the church's striving to revive in Russian society ideals and values which have for ages served us as moral guidelines," Putin told the priests.

Reuters left out Putin saying, "One should not completely draw a line between the culture and the Church. Of course, in our country the Church is separate from the State. But in the soul and the history of our people it's all together. It always has been and always will be."

A few Russians are not happy with this religious fervor. Members of the Russian Academy of Sciences wrote Putin a letter. Dear Mr. President: "We have watched with deepening concern the increasing clericalization of Russian society, the Church's infiltration of all areas of public life. The Constitution of the Russian Federation declares our country to be secular and separates the Church from the public education system. We address this letter to you as the holder of the highest office in this country and guarantor of the Constitution's basic principles."

Too bad so sad for the liberals in Russia. Putin has not only embraced the church but has helped restore it and will continue to do so. Putin and Patriarch Kirill had met earlier this year of 2010.

Talk is cheap but not for Putin.

Vladimir Putin said as president, "The state will continue to support the Church in all its work to enlighten the moral education of our citizens, strengthen the influence of family values, and consolidate unity in the Orthodox community."

Recently, Dec 3, 2010 Patriarch Kirill said A total of 23,000 Orthodox churches have been rebuilt in Russia in the past 20 years. "Nothing of the kind has happened in any country at any time in history; This has been happening against the backdrop of all social, political and economic confrontations..."

"The world should see the Orthodox Russia's great feat of rebuilding all that was destroyed," he said.

There was an AP story relayed by Fox News that seemed to hint that Putin and Medvedev were at church for the first time to get the church's blessing as Medvedev takes over as president.

Just because it was Associated Press' first time at the Cathedral does not mean it was Putin and Medvedev's first also. They have a strong faith and go many times to church. I can attest to the fact that Putin was at the Cathedral December 2008 during the requiem service for Patriarch Alexy.

On October 30, 2007, "The Day of Soviet Political Prisoners" Putin said he wanted the innocent Soviet prisoners of the past to be remembered to avoid the same mistake in the future. He said, "Today we commemorate the victims of political repression," Above all, law enforcement agencies should provide the public with all relevant information that can be used in their rehabilitation."

Dimitry Medvedev.

Putin's right hand man is Medvedev. He is not a Jew as some rumors abound. Medvedev's speeches may even be considered more fervent. Russian President Dimitry Medvedev said, on June 29, 2008 at a Russian Orthodox Church's celebration of the yearly anniversary of the Baptism of Russia saying:

"The continual work of the Russian Orthodox Church will affect the revival of Christianity in our nation. Thanks to the Orthodox faith Russian culture through the years has acquired Biblical values on which the system of moral ideals for our nation is built."

"When we celebrated the millennial anniversary of the Baptism of Russia twenty years ago it was the beginning of churches being rebuilt and the restoration of the integrity of the Orthodox Church"

Medvedev condemned Stalinism.

October 30, 2008: "Let's just think about it: millions of people died as a result of terror and false accusations - millions," Medvedev said. "But even today you can still hear voices claiming that those innumerable victims were justified for some higher national purpose. I believe that no national progress, successes or ambitions can develop at the price of human misery and loss. And there is no excuse for repression. Stalin's crimes cannot diminish the heroic deeds of the people who triumphed in the Great Patriotic War, who made our country a mighty industrial power, and who raised our industry, science and culture to leading world standards."

Medvedev's wife.

Svetlana, like her husband, is also active in the Russian Church. She sponsors a program entitled "Movement for the Moral and Spiritual Culture of the Younger Generation in Russia." This movement is responsible for bringing religion back into Russian public schools. She received a medal from the Orthodox Church for her church educational program. She has helped with the spiritual and moral discipline of the younger generation. She has restored what the Bolshevik revolution did when it banished priests from the classroom.

Russian Faith Survives.

The Russian people still cling to their precious Christian faith which has survived the Mongols, Napoleon, Hitler, Stalin; civil war between the reds and the whites; and the communist's atheistic war on Christianity. In other words, God as he does with all people who pray to him, helped Russia many times.

As I said in my article regarding liberalism, "The spiritual life is the fourth dimension that cannot be measured by a tool. However, it can be measured by cause and effect." Russia has always seen the results of prayer.

More people were killed under Communism than during the first 300 years of Christianity. How could such a terrible thing happen? Was not God there to prevent it all? Alexander Solzhenitsyn answers the question.

"Men had forgotten God; that is why all this has happened."

The former communist is only one of many witnesses. "In the intoxication of my youthful successes I had felt myself to be infallible, and I was therefore cruel. In the surfeit of power I was a murderer, and an oppressor. In my most evil moments I was convinced that I was doing good, and I was well supplied with systematic arguments...Gradually it was disclosed to me that the line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either-but right through every human heart-and then all human hearts... ."

In 1931, December 5, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow was vandalized and destroyed by the Soviets. A sign of what was to come. As the building fell, so many innocent millions were murdered, swept away. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse were unleashed. The Red terror continued and slave labor camps were established called "gulags". The Ukraine was one giant concentration camp, "Holodomor". The sufferings and deaths of these Russian Christian martyrs will bear fruit just as the blood of the early Christian martyrs converted Rome.

"The entire 20th century is being sucked into the vortex of atheism and self-destruction...We can only reach with determination for the warm hand of God . .. There is nothing else to cling to in the landslide." - Alexander Solzhenitsyn

In 1990 a monk from the Russian Orthodox monastery at Zagorsk, carrying a life-sized crucifix seven feet tall, stood before Lenin‘s tomb. While he faced the dead Lenin and his heirs he cried out to Gorbachev in a voice of thunder: "Mikhail Sergeyevich, Christ is risen!"

Solzhenitsyn praises Putin.

One of the Wiki Leaks cables told how much Alexander Solzhenitsyn admired Putin. US ambassador, William Burns reported to Washington the following:

"Solzhenitsyn positively contrasted the eight-year reign of Putin with those of Gorbachev and Yeltsin, which he said had 'added to the damage done to the Russian state by 70 years of communist rule'. Under Putin, the nation was rediscovering what it was to be Russian, Solzhenitsyn thought."

Putin has obviously made Russia better since he was elected president in 2000. The Russian economy continues climbing upward. The average citizen is not economically better than the average American but they are better than they were before Putin became president. The church is also better off as it has freedom and more government help under Putin.

In the Summer of 2008, Alexander Solzhenitsyn's last interview was with Christian Neef and Matthias Schepp, Solzhenitsyn described Putin's early years. "Putin inherited a ransacked and bewildered country, with a poor and demoralized people. And he started to do what was possible - a slow and gradual restoration. These efforts were not noticed, nor appreciated, immediately."

Some find it ironic that Solzhenitsyn, who suffered under the Soviets gulags, praises Putin who was in the KGB. In an interview with German news magazine Der Spiegel he says, "Vladimir Putin - yes, he was an officer of the special services, but he was not a KGB investigator, nor was he the head of a camp in the gulag," Solzhenitsyn said. "And foreign intelligence is not negative in any country, sometimes it even draws praise. George Bush Sr. was not much criticized for being the former chief of the CIA.''

14

Conclusion.

It is true that one can make more money in the West than in Russia. However, evil has so much influence in the West that even Solzhenitsyn noticed it. When I first came to Russia it reminded me how society in America was and how much America has changed. When talking to other Americans we agreed that the current Russian society was like America in the 60's or late 50's. People are more polite and the crime is very low in comparison to America today. Granted, due to western influence, the old Russians complain they are not respected as they used to be but overall society is better, especially in cities other than Moscow.

This article is meant to show why liberals in the West fear Putin. It also explains that Russia's destiny is to renew Christianity, which has been allowed to grow under Putin. This article is not meant to evaluate the Russian economy, health care, military or to claim the world will join the Orthodox faith. Rather, the evil that spread from Russia in 1917 to the West will be destroyed by Russia's renewed faith that will heal the world.

The West has many so called experts with PhDs in Slavic studies and in Russian history that claim Putin is a dictator without even having lived in Russia for any length of time. They ignore people like Solzhenitsyn who suffered under communism. They ignore the fact that Russia is better now than it was before Putin was in charge. Both Putin and Dmitry Medvedev's approval rating has averaged around 70 percent.

Putin is obviously not a saint but very few of us are. God's mercy works through big and small sinners who believe and are open to him. We can see that in Putin's religious speech he meant what he said as he helped to restore the church in Russia. He listened to those like Alexander Solzhenitsyn. Those who listen to their elders tend to be wiser. Vladimir Putin allows Christianity to flourish unlike the liberals in America who have their own warped idea of freedom from God and a denial of evil's existence in the world. Unlike Putin, liberals have never listened to their elders.

There is a reason that most public schools in America do not teach the Bolshevik revolution and its true consequences. There are people in the West that want to remove everything related to Christ from "public view" just as the communists did during the Soviet enslavement of Russia. 20th century Russia is proof that Christianity can prevail against their darkness and confusion.

Today, the liberals who control the West fear Putin as though doomsday was tomorrow. It's not a nuclear threat but rather a spiritual renewal that threatens them. They try to persuade us by scaring everyone with ideas of Putin as the evil KGB out to destroy the world. They "reason" KGB is bad. Putin is KGB. Therefore, Putin is bad.

They conveniently ignore Putin's Christianity because it's not our world but their liberal world that is in danger of being destroyed. Their arrogance does not allow them to comprehend that the light of truth can overcome any darkness they promote. The man who hated communism, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, once reminded us:

"One word of truth shall outweigh the whole world." - old Russian proverb

An interesting read but it is so obviously a simple piece of standard propaganda that I can only reply nicely to  it  because I am in an OK mood .
The West does not fear Putin . They know that in literal terms he cannot go anywhere . His land forces are so small , badly equipped and inefficient that they pose no threat whatsoever ,  if push ever came to shove . At best they are sufficient for small scale forays like the spat with Georgia in '08  , where  , even there , they took a terrible beating for 36 hours until their cyber programme won them the war .
Putin poses a threat only in economic terms  --  whether a threat to European Gas and Oil supplies or buying Western assets and companies from the huge Oil revenues and to a lesser extent the Gas cash flow .
However  , the damage done to Russia by the Gas spat with Ukraine and the Georgia invasion has been immense  , regardless of the rights and wrongs of the two incidents . Russia achieved nothing with Ukraine that  would not have  been immediately achieved after the Ukraine change in President  , and from Georgia , Russia has obtained two expensive extra small territories to defend and ringing condemnation from the rest of the world . Not smart .
The consequences are  that Europe is developing alternative gas supply sources as fast as possible and that Federation countries have desperately started to look for more independent ways of living with Russia as neighbour or very close .
By every known standard  , Russia is imploding and a break up of the Federation piece by piece is a virtually guaranteed in the next decade . Of course , Russians do not like to hear such forecasts but all the evidence is against them and building very fast as the country continues its strange ways in terms of Government and complete indifference to the key problems affecting its future .
Slowly but surely the huge swing to a totally State controlled country has been the price paid for letting Putin continue as Gang Master  after his first tenure of President  . His foreign policy has been chapters of unmitigated disasters and now even his more loyal fans are getting upset at the huge differences between the rich and the other 95% plus  complete failure to invest in the infrastructure or adopt Western business efficiencies and codes of conduct .
