It is necessary to note that McCain like Obama, received money from George Soros. McCain is known as one of the most liberal Republicans. I, for one, cannot trust anyone who deals with Soros.

Atheist Soros hates and fears Putin. When Soros sees Putin he sees his own end. Long ago I had heard that Soros' Nazi collaborating hand was in Georgia but I had no confirmation until later. Andrew Bolt from the Australia's Herald Sun wrote, "of course, Australia is only one of 50 countries in which Soros works. And his meddling here is nothing given what he's just done in Georgia..He then backed Georgia's former
justice minister, Mikhail Saakashvili"

Some westerners speculate Soros and Putin are a team. The truth is, billionaire Soros knows Putin would throw him in jail as he has done to other oligarchs who misbehaved. Even today Putin pushes greedy oligarchs to help their country. Do you think a devious man like Soros would allow Putin to tell him what to do? Last March, the UK's Telegraph wrote, "Not since he threw a pen at Oleg Deripaska has Russia's prime minister so publicly berated the country's richest billionaires"

There are many examples of the prime minister not being afraid to push the rich to help Russia. The World Cup is coming to Russia in 2018 thanks to Putin's help and he is also persuading the billionaires to invest millions for a new stadium, new high speed rail services and other necessary construction. Billionaire owner of the Chelsea football club, Roman Abramovich was told by Putin to pay for the World Cup. He will at least pay more than £500m for the new stadium outside of Moscow. In comparison, sport team owners in America, like the NFL owners, scheme to have the people pay for the stadiums through higher taxes.

Western media hides the truth.

The western media constantly portrays Russia as the same old Soviet Union. I understand their mistrust but they should learn at least to report the facts.

When Soros' Georgia attacked innocent civilians the same McCain said, 'we are all Georgians'. Remember it was the American media who told us on August 2008 that Russia was invading S.Ossetia and Georgia while insisting Russia was at fault and should be stopped. Condoleeza Rice kept referring to Russia as though it was the Soviet Union. AP news reported she said that the NATO alliance would "punish Russia". CNN quoted Bush telling Russia,"We strongly condemn bombing outside of South Ossetia". Reuters reported that Obama said, "Georgia's territorial integrity must be respected".

The American media was still eagerly blaming Russia for starting the war even when the young S.Ossetian girl Amanda Kokoeva went on Fox News and thanked the Russians for helping.

The truth was unveiled on November 2008 when Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili admitted he did start the war. Oops! Did the American media or politicians such as Senator Obama, President Bush, Condoleeza Rice and McCain admit their mistake in condemning Russia? Did they acknowledge the thousands killed by Saakashvili? No, of course not. Admitting a mistake would lower credibility and network ratings.

Later, CNN did allow Putin to have his say but the damage was done in portraying Russia as an invading menace. On May, 2010, the European Parliament said Georgia, not Russia, was responsible for starting the war with South Ossetia: "The European Parliament supported the findings of a special report which says Georgia "triggered the war" with heavy artillery attack on Tskhinval."

American Missiles near Russia.

It is understandable that the West is made uneasy by Russia because of the communists that were in charge of the government under the Soviet Union. There is a small communist party that still exists today but Putin is not a member and they are all vocal against him to a point of creating riots in Moscow with people sent in from Vladivostok (January 2009).

It clearly shows the conflict between the Communists and Putin's United Russia Party. Last March 28, Reuters wrote something similar in Arkhangelsk.

Putin recently advised the West concerning democracy: "Rather than talking about democracy in Russia let the West be specific about the issues that matter. If they are worried about nuclear programs in Iran, let's talk about Iran together. If they want us to resolve Kosovo, let's talk Kosovo. We will gladly participate in any debate with our partners."

He also stated in an interview with Larry King on CNN that he would set up a defense if the west were to set up missiles near Russia. He emphasized that he would never start anything but only retaliate.

"Larry, listen, I'd like to make this clear to you and to all Americans, or,at least, to the audience of your show today. It's not Russia that is moving missiles close to your border; it's the United States that is planning to deploy missiles near Russia's border. We keep hearing that the purpose is to
protect yourselves from the threat of a nuclear missile attack by Iran, for example. But Iran poses no such threat at the moment. And if anti-missile
and radar systems are set up near our border, even in 2015, they will undermine our nuclear capabilities. So it's only natural that we are alarmed
by the prospect. And we are obligated to take some measures in response.
This is a response; we are not making the first moves... But we continue to be told: "We don't want to take your interests into account, we are going to do
whatever we want." So we'll just have to view it as a threat to our security, and we'll be forced to respond accordingly. That's what I'd like
to get across to the American public."

Putin Baptized.

McCain, AP, CBS and others like them would be happy to tell you that Putin's father was a devoted communist. They do not want you to know that his mother was a devout Christian and had Putin baptized in 1952. In Richard Sakwa's book, "Putin: Russia's Choice", he writes:

"Maria was a devoted believer, and although there were no icons in the flat she regularly slipped off to church, which in those days of official atheism and persecution suggested a person with deep-felt beliefs. She ensured that the baby Vladimir was christened into the Orthodox faith, although this was done in secret, and she regularly took him to services"

Putin's Religious Cross.

Later, Putin recounts that on the eve of an official visit to Israel his mother gave him his baptismal cross to have it blessed: ‘I did as she said and then put the cross around my neck. I have never have taken it off since'". At 5:25 CNN Larry King asks him about his faith. (English translation below)

KING: There is much talk about Vladimir Putin and religious faith. I'm told that you wear a cross. Is that true? Are you religious? What are your feelings in this area?

PUTIN (through translator): I prefer -- I would prefer not to develop on that subject in detail. I think such things are sacred for everybody. Everybody's belief is not to be shown off, it's inside a man's heart. As regards to wearing cross, earlier I never had it -- once my mother gave it to me and when I visited Israel. I was there two times. First on an official invitation of the minister of foreign affairs of that country. The second time, I liked the country, and I traveled there with my family as a tourist.

So my mother gave it to me to have a blessing there at the Tomb of Lord. I did so and now it's with me always.

Incidentally enough, there was a story about this cross and since then I have always decided to have it on my body, now in the Dacha close to St. Petersburg, there was fire on the Dacha, it happened because of the fact that something went wrong with sauna.

Prior entering sauna, I took off the cross before entering the sauna, and then with my friend we jumped out naked, since it was so unexpected. And I cherish that cross very much, it was my mother's cross, and the fire was really in earnest at the time. So I was thinking about whether perhaps it could get even remnants of it, it was an aluminum-made cross, a very simple thing.

I was surprised completely when one of the workers, just muddling through those ashes of the remnants, found that cross intact. And the house fell, that was a surprise, a revelation, and therefore I always now keep it with me.

Putin will only allow traditional marriages in Russia. He said, "As for same-sex marriages, they do not produce offspring, as you know. So we are fairly tolerant toward sexual minorities, however we think that the state should promote reproduction, support mothers and children, and look after their health."

Putin does not drink and wants Russia to follow moderation. Reuters reported Jan. 14. 2010, "Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, alarmed by Russians' love affair with alcohol, gave the go-ahead on Thursday for a campaign to cut consumption by more than half in the next 10 years."

President Reagan and Solzhenitsyn.

Reagan called the Soviet Union the evil empire and rightly so. "The Soviet Union was the Russian people held hostage by the Communists"- Alexander Solzhenitsyn. Solzhenitsyn wrote about the evils in many of his books, which Reagan was well aware of. On May 30, 1988 in Moscow, President Ronald Reagan was at the Danilov Monastery. He said, "There is a beautiful passage that I'd just like to read, if I may. It's from one of this country's great writers and believers, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, about the faith that is as elemental to this land as the dark and fertile soil. He wrote: "When you travel the byroads of central Russia, you begin to understand the secret of the pacifying Russian countryside. It is in the churches. They lift their bell-towers-graceful, shapely, all different-high over mundane timber and thatch. From villages that are cut off and invisible to each other, they soar to the same heaven.... The evening chimes used to ring out, floating over the villages, fields, and woods, reminding men that they must abandon trivial concerns of this world and give time and thought to eternity."

Reagan helped destroy communism and later even had Gorbachev at his ranch in California.

Liberals and the media hated Reagan especially for his religious beliefs. So, naturally they will hate Putin as well. Reagan made 1983 the "Year of the Bible". Reagan reminded America, "If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under." He well understood the meaning of separation of church and state.

Talk is cheap but not for Putin.

Vladimir Putin said as president, "The state will continue to support the Church in all its work to enlighten the moral education of our citizens, strengthen the influence of family values, and consolidate unity in the Orthodox community."

Recently, Dec 3, 2010 Patriarch Kirill said A total of 23,000 Orthodox churches have been rebuilt in Russia in the past 20 years. "Nothing of the kind has happened in any country at any time in history; This has been happening against the backdrop of all social, political and economic confrontations..."

"The world should see the Orthodox Russia's great feat of rebuilding all that was destroyed," he said.

There was an AP story relayed by Fox News that seemed to hint that Putin and Medvedev were at church for the first time to get the church's blessing as Medvedev takes over as president.

Just because it was Associated Press' first time at the Cathedral does not mean it was Putin and Medvedev's first also. They have a strong faith and go many times to church. I can attest to the fact that Putin was at the Cathedral December 2008 during the requiem service for Patriarch Alexy.

On October 30, 2007, "The Day of Soviet Political Prisoners" Putin said he wanted the innocent Soviet prisoners of the past to be remembered to avoid the same mistake in the future. He said, "Today we commemorate the victims of political repression," Above all, law enforcement agencies should provide the public with all relevant information that can be used in their rehabilitation."

Russian Faith Survives.

The Russian people still cling to their precious Christian faith which has survived the Mongols, Napoleon, Hitler, Stalin; civil war between the reds and the whites; and the communist's atheistic war on Christianity. In other words, God as he does with all people who pray to him, helped Russia many times.

As I said in my article regarding liberalism, "The spiritual life is the fourth dimension that cannot be measured by a tool. However, it can be measured by cause and effect." Russia has always seen the results of prayer.

More people were killed under Communism than during the first 300 years of Christianity. How could such a terrible thing happen? Was not God there to prevent it all? Alexander Solzhenitsyn answers the question.

"Men had forgotten God; that is why all this has happened."

The former communist is only one of many witnesses. "In the intoxication of my youthful successes I had felt myself to be infallible, and I was therefore cruel. In the surfeit of power I was a murderer, and an oppressor. In my most evil moments I was convinced that I was doing good, and I was well supplied with systematic arguments...Gradually it was disclosed to me that the line separating good and evil passes not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either-but right through every human heart-and then all human hearts... ."

In 1931, December 5, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow was vandalized and destroyed by the Soviets. A sign of what was to come. As the building fell, so many innocent millions were murdered, swept away. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse were unleashed. The Red terror continued and slave labor camps were established called "gulags". The Ukraine was one giant concentration camp, "Holodomor". The sufferings and deaths of these Russian Christian martyrs will bear fruit just as the blood of the early Christian martyrs converted Rome.

"The entire 20th century is being sucked into the vortex of atheism and self-destruction...We can only reach with determination for the warm hand of God . .. There is nothing else to cling to in the landslide." - Alexander Solzhenitsyn

In 1990 a monk from the Russian Orthodox monastery at Zagorsk, carrying a life-sized crucifix seven feet tall, stood before Lenin‘s tomb. While he faced the dead Lenin and his heirs he cried out to Gorbachev in a voice of thunder: "Mikhail Sergeyevich, Christ is risen!"

Conclusion.

It is true that one can make more money in the West than in Russia. However, evil has so much influence in the West that even Solzhenitsyn noticed it. When I first came to Russia it reminded me how society in America was and how much America has changed. When talking to other Americans we agreed that the current Russian society was like America in the 60's or late 50's. People are more polite and the crime is very low in comparison to America today. Granted, due to western influence, the old Russians complain they are not respected as they used to be but overall society is better, especially in cities other than Moscow.

This article is meant to show why liberals in the West fear Putin. It also explains that Russia's destiny is to renew Christianity, which has been allowed to grow under Putin. This article is not meant to evaluate the Russian economy, health care, military or to claim the world will join the Orthodox faith. Rather, the evil that spread from Russia in 1917 to the West will be destroyed by Russia's renewed faith that will heal the world.

The West has many so called experts with PhDs in Slavic studies and in Russian history that claim Putin is a dictator without even having lived in Russia for any length of time. They ignore people like Solzhenitsyn who suffered under communism. They ignore the fact that Russia is better now than it was before Putin was in charge. Both Putin and Dmitry Medvedev's approval rating has averaged around 70 percent.

Putin is obviously not a saint but very few of us are. God's mercy works through big and small sinners who believe and are open to him. We can see that in Putin's religious speech he meant what he said as he helped to restore the church in Russia. He listened to those like Alexander Solzhenitsyn. Those who listen to their elders tend to be wiser. Vladimir Putin allows Christianity to flourish unlike the liberals in America who have their own warped idea of freedom from God and a denial of evil's existence in the world. Unlike Putin, liberals have never listened to their elders.

There is a reason that most public schools in America do not teach the Bolshevik revolution and its true consequences. There are people in the West that want to remove everything related to Christ from "public view" just as the communists did during the Soviet enslavement of Russia. 20th century Russia is proof that Christianity can prevail against their darkness and confusion.

Today, the liberals who control the West fear Putin as though doomsday was tomorrow. It's not a nuclear threat but rather a spiritual renewal that threatens them. They try to persuade us by scaring everyone with ideas of Putin as the evil KGB out to destroy the world. They "reason" KGB is bad. Putin is KGB. Therefore, Putin is bad.

They conveniently ignore Putin's Christianity because it's not our world but their liberal world that is in danger of being destroyed. Their arrogance does not allow them to comprehend that the light of truth can overcome any darkness they promote. The man who hated communism, Alexander Solzhenitsyn, once reminded us:

"One word of truth shall outweigh the whole world." - old Russian proverb
